On the surface, that appears to be the case, along with that Fat Che had once tried blackmailing this Violet Blue or was "protecting" the other Violet Blue, but I'm sure there was more to it than that.
Fat Che, the long-ago-mausoleumed Ben Burch on Skins's island, is possessive of an elaborate Byzantine mind, which he assumes makes him smarter than most people, but actually it's nothing more than the complicatedness of a weird and perverted mind.
Things haven't been going very well for Fat Che the past few years, and one hopes the trend continues.
I recall that as poor stupid Beth's scam that rocked the internet was winding down, Fat Che threw in the towel, telling the primitives there was nothing more that could be done to nab the pursuers and killers of the late red round one, and that they'd have to wait for kharma to deal with it.
It looks like kharma's been dealing with Fat Che in ways he never anticipated, and even now hasn't figured out.
