If that's true, I guess it's kind of sad that no one but a handful of DUmmies saw it.

LOL I don't think so.

There was a blurb in Breitbart yesterday or the day before that mentioned people were bailing on CNN and MSNBC in favor of Fox during the initial bombing aftermath.  After today, who knows but I think we can make an educated guess.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

If combining both their numbers and still coming up short equals 'Kicking the shit out of them,' that phrase must mean something different than I thought it did.

Agreed, but far from the only repulsive language pattern out there.

How about, "At the end of the day..."?

Or the brainless TV sidelines reporterette, "What was going through your mind when..."?

Most contemptible is when a birdbrain asks himself a question, then answers it.
"Do I think this is a sign of stupidity? Yes, I do. Is there anything I can do about it? No, not really."

This ranks right up there with Pittstain's, "Bank on it!" declaration.

"Suffice it to say......."
Yup.  :-)

This had all the earmarks of a MSNBC ass kicking. It wasn't. But that doesn't change the fact that it had all the earmarks of one. . . . it still had TONS of evidence pointing to it being a MSNBC ass kicking. The fact that it was not does not change that fact.

Such is a DUmmy's very tenuous grip on reality.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It all amounts to no more than a light thump on the ass.....if you did that to some strange woman, she wouldn't even slap your face.

Rush just gave the stats for viewership last week and Fox kicked butt, MSNBC wasn't even a factor.

and here is the article, Fox News Tops All Cable For 1s Time Since 2005

Quote
Fox News Channel’s coverage of the bombing at the Boston Marathon last week propelled the network to the top of the cable rankings for the first time in nearly a decade. In both total day and primetime for the week of April 15-April 21, the News Corp-owned news network pulled ahead of usually top-ranked USA Network. Excluding election coverage last year, the last time Fox News was in the top position was August 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. In primetime, FNC garnered 2.874 million viewers on average for the week compared with No. 2 USA’s 2.621 million. CNN also climbed the cable ladder to finish No. 3 with 1.985 million viewers overall on average. History Channel was in fourth with 1.937 million viewers and A&E was fifth with 1.928 million.
