When I made my thread about any liberal going on a murderous rampage I was deliberately using the leftist tactic of guilt by association -- although recent killers like Jared Loughner and Joe Stack were leftists and the rest were apolitical limp dicks. Still, Other-People's-Shit is the medium in which I paint.
Now, however, I learn that not only is the left not embarrassed into introspection about thir dishonest tactics they actually embrace the killings. The killings have become justified and Dorner is being deified.

I hope to dog they capture Christopher Jordan Dorner alive
He has a story to tell - and this is LA's worst kept secret
Things only got WORSE after Rampart
The LAPD is the most corrupt LEA in the country
Why? They have the best PR department in the world - ALL of Hollywood!
If a movie doesn't make the LAPD look good, they deny filming permits. Period.

1. Knowing the LAPD and their buddies in other departments
They will try to kill him before he spills the beans.

3. not sure he has much to say, if he did, why not reveal that ?
why kill innocent people instead ?
and coming from him it would just lose credibility even if he might be right.

8. Because he is a man without a voice
I am not excusing what he did
But the real story is about the LAPD, not this guy
What is the LAPD hiding, and why?

16. the guy lost any credibility he might have had
and the story is about him. he is out there killing innocent people. the first 2 people he killed. the 28 year old daughter of an lapd officer and her 27 year old fiance.

Just because you are an asshole, doesn't make your message any less important.

37. Yes - I would agree he is a narcisist
But his message is his message
Don't kill the messenger - ignore him
But pay attention to the message

13. His manifesto is not the ravings of a lunatic.
It alleges corruption, racism and physical abuse among other things. Says things have gotten worse since Rodney King.
The LAPD taking shots at two women in a truck that's not even the same make plays right into Dorner's accusations.
He knows too much. There is no way they will take him alive.

63. Leave the emotion
The problems at the Rampart division were legendary, for example.
The issues he raises are there. They are very real and the FEDs had LAPD under observation for decades.
These are facts.
He also, so far, has killed three people. I do not expect him to be taken alive, due to some of the people in question. While you might applaud this, let's go back to the very well known issues of LAPD and what do we do about it? Cause you know what? LAPD thanks you for letting your emotion ignore the issues raised, the issues of very serious corruption.
He alleges he took this to courts...tried to be a whistleblower...there is a smidgen of reality to that claim.
Regardless, trial of the century? Don't think so, his next stop is a cold slab at the morgue.

100. Leave the emotion? What?
This guy is a lunatic and he is murdering people. Why leave the emotion?
Corruption within the LAPD, which I myself have admitted is documented and known, in no way justifies, rationalizes, or excuses murder. Coldblooded murder against innocent parties, I might add.

102. Nobody is excusing any of the murders
And yes, you are letting emotion get in the way.
Have a good day.

85. Flat out
these cops were not looking for an arrest in my opinion they were looking for a kill. Judge, jury, executioner.

96. They're going to kill him and probably have a drone lined up and
armed for exactly that mission.
No way are they going to allow the story of Rampart (whitewashed and swept under the rug) to be aired out in its full magesty. No way.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022331767This is an important psychological milestone.
In days past the left wanted to silence their enemies but always with an pretense of civility, i.e. "we need a Fairness Doctrine because it's fair."
Then they moved to discredit, i.e. "you get your talking points from Faux Nooz."
Then they moved to declarations of guilt, i.e. "the shooting of the congresswoman means it is time to examine the rhetoric of the Reich-wing"
To the declaration of outlawry, i.e. "Limbaugh is preaching sedition to the troops!"
When their side got caught in the act they pretended it wasn't them, i.e. "Those weren't members of Occupy! They're agent provacateurs!" or "Just because he worked as a GLBTWTFBBQ advocate and shot up the FRC doesn't mean he's one of ours."
Now we have someone actively on a rampage and the left feels confident enough to champion his cause. Write a good manifesto and having a story easily massaged into an MSNBC Movie of the Week and you will be praised. The next leftist who wants to be a hero to the world and make something out of their frustrated, unrecognized existence will get the laurels and rose petal treatment.
I think things may well get increasingly deadlier in the next few years.
