This is horrible.  So far I've heard of 3 deaths, and people who have had limbs blown off.  There is also a call out for all bomb squad people to report to the area.

Now I'm hearing there were two bombs that went off about 5 sec apart on each side of the street.  I am also hearing that eye witnessess say they seem to have come from a trash can and that ball bearings were part of the debris blowing out of them.

I just spoke with colleagues in Boston. One's husband was at a Red Sox game and was going to the finish line of the marathon. He was on public transportation, but officials made everyone get off.

This is awful and scary.

One person   claimed to have found a "shotgun pellet" in  his jacket pocket. More like a small ball bearing since that is one of the choices for IEDs.  Will any nails be found?

This is terrible news - At this point everybody I know is safe and accounted for. But there could be others that Im not thinking of at the moment :(  

I'm sure Coakley and Obama will find some way to make it either 'not terrorism' and/or blame the sequester.
