Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

    I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

    Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.

I posit the question on CU. 42 is about 35 yrs before the warranty expires. I guess it means an asetroid didn't fall on you or a crackhead didn't whack you for pocket change.

He was one of my favorite commentators and authors.  This is a true loss for the conservative cause.

I am so heartbroken over this news.  I would never believe it if I hadn't read it on Michelle Malkin's website.  :bawl:

RIP Andrew Breitbart.  I wish I was fortunate enough to meet you when you were at our big Tea Party rally in Searchlight, NV.

Have you ever seen this crap that people tweet to him on Twitter?  It was vile, disgusting and just plan psychotic.  I wouldn't be surprised if someone did kill him.  They shouldn't say "natural death" without an autopsy.  I totally agree with Beck.

I am in shock. This is devastating. Forty-three is much too young. I hope someone else has access to the obama videos he said he had.

Condolences to his family and friends. He will certainly be missed.

Hopefully someone still has access to those videos and releases them as planned.  It would be a nice final tribute to Andrew.
