Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Shot In Arizona

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot outside a grocery store in Tucson while holding a public event, Arizona Public Media reported Saturday.

At least five other people, including members of her staff, were hurt. Giffords was transported to University Medical Center in Tucson. Her condition was not immediately known.

This is so sad.  :(

My husband thinks all of this violence is being staged by the Marxist and communists.  He thinks they are taking out people who were unable to get the jobs (like immigration reform) done.  Speculation, of course, but there has been a lot of violence towards our representatives lately.  We just had a package addressed to Napolitano that started on fire in a DC USPS facility.

Whoever doing this, either from the right or the left, need to be punished to the fullest extent.

I just heard (on MSNBC) an AZ sheriff say that his county's SWAT team doctor told him, five minutes ago, that Rep. Giffords is alive.

FOX also just reported that their source says she IS alive, but in critical condition.

5 bucks says it was a member of a Mexican drug cartel that put a hit out on  her over her stance on border security.  This is horrible.
