The 1.7 TRILLION DOLLAR OMNIBUS SPENDING BILL ...
« on: December 22, 2022, 07:53:06 PM »
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is determined to pass the Democrats’ $1.7 trillion omnibus spending plan before lawmakers leave town for Christmas.

The difference between a million, a billion, & a trillion is far easier for the human mind to grasp ...

If measured in seconds of time passed.

A million seconds tick by in approximately 10 days, a billion in approx 30 years, and a trillion in approx  30 thousand years!!!

Big difference huh?    Just what we need!

Yeah, and my two senators BOTH signed off on this pile of crap. Tom Cotton, otherwise a good conservative, but he just can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to the military.

Boozman is just another "go along to get along" do-nothing, go-nowhere politician. Votes the right way about 98% of the time, but he took a stupid pill along with Cotton.

My rep is another go along to get along politician, completely useless and definitely not someone who is going to take a principled stand.

Of my two Senate Critters, Romney voted for it (go figure) and in a surprisingly cynical move, Mike Lee voted NAY after adding an amendment to it paying the salary of a Navy sailor in prison in Japan for a double murder.
