Obama Has Raised More Than $¼ Billion

According to: http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.asp

Sen. Barack Obama has raised more than a quarter of a billion dollars.

Now, tell me why he shouldn't be the Democratic nominee?

Our party could never dream of having a candidate who generates as much enthusaism and energy as Obama.

He has earned the nomination through hard work and huge support.

It's unbelieveable that we have a candidate who doesn't come from a silver spoon in mouth background, but who can generate this kind of money.

Obama will represent our party well in November and disassemble McSame.

Much joy and jubilation among the sub-primitives, that Barry "Goldwater" Obama's raised more money than entire gross national products of some countries.

However.

5. It used to be the GOP that judged its popularity by how much money it accumulated.

As a matter of fact, for decades and decades now, the ROOT of the problems with our nation and government is the obscene influence of money in the election process.

So Obama's folks can be proud of out-raising even the Republicans this time.

But is that anything to be proud of?

Personally, the dominance of money in ALL American campaigns distresss and disgusts

Yeah, franksolich has always wondered what's up with that.
