9 illegal immigrants dead, 9 others injured in Highway 79 rollover

A rollover south of Florence this morning has left nine illegal immigrants dead and nine others injured, an official said.

The single-vehicle crash involving the vehicle crammed with 18 illegal immigrants occurred on State Route 79 just north of Tom Mix Monument, according to Officer Carmen Figueroa, a spokeswoman for the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

A 1998 GMC sport utility vehicle with Mexican license plates was heading north when the SUV left the roadway and rolled onto it’s top, she said.

I've been crammed in a full-size passenger van with 14 other people.  We had people sitting on the wheel wells.  I can't imagine 18 people crammed into a '98 Yukon, which is (at most) a seven-passenger vehicle.

Its amazing they all were not killed. Given the amount of people and damage. We still have far to many to send back though.

It is time something was done about the illegals. Where I live they are everywhere. Landscaping jobs, fast food jobs and you name it illegals are working there. No wonder there are no jobs for US citizens.

No jobs Sadie? We're only sitting at 5.7% unemployment. I doubt they're taking that many jobs. We have enough jobs to support more people than we have. HOWEVER, .....

I drove with 7 people in an orange VW bug from Los Angeles to San Fransisco.  We only stopped once for bio and gas.

Kids today are so spoiled.
