Here is why I’m angry. Read the whole thing, including all the responses. And then realize that I hate this war more than I’ve ever hated anything. And I hate the fact that you justify it and support it and that you are so blinded to the reality of what we are doing to these people who never hurt us in any way. I am sick to the depths of my soul that 4000 American soldiers and a ****ing million Iraqi people have died in this monstrous war. I am ashamed and diminished as a human being by it. But like Dick Cheney, your attitude has pretty much been “So?” How you can give a shit about the fetus in some stranger’s womb and not care that our so-called leaders have literally destroyed that country is beyond my ability to comprehend. I hate the fact that you have allowed your mind to become so clouded with right wing propaganda and fundamentalist Christian dogma that you cannot see the evil that our so-called leaders are doing in our names. This is not about democracy, it is about profit. And it is obscene. And it is shameful.

You asked me why I’m angry. If you honestly want to know, here you go.

I succeed in having a life by keeping the war in the background. I try not to think abt it.

We live in an oligarchy. We have sham elections, and the situation will not reverse until soemthing major happens.

Everyone inteh streets with sledgehammers. or whatever. (My big fear is that that mayhappen -w e might get to the point that there is Civil war. Or worse Aneven buigger fear I carry is that the American democratic way of life may go away totally - not with a bang but a whimper.)

And the media that drones on and influences so many really needs to be toppled.

And the Congress critters need to be given pink slips.

The only thing that pisses the DUmbasses off is that each and everyone of the fine and brave members of our military are volunteers instead of being draftees against their will. 

DUmbasses don't give a crap about "death".  We have abortion clinics on every corner to prove that.  The DUmbasses don't give a shit about "the Iraqi people" either.  We have years and years of Saddam Hussein's mass graves to prove that too.

The only thing these lunatics care about is political power being in the hands of other lunatics.  The idea that decent men and women, people better than the DUmbasses, are in charge has driven them beyond insane.

How the money being spent fighting islamofacists should be used to give them the things they want.
