Pelosi Throws Down -- Won't Consider Senate Doc Fix (Until Jobs Bill Gets A Vote In Senate)
Source: ABC
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi struck a combative tone tonight, rejecting the Medicare "doc fix" passed hastily through the Senate Friday until Senate Republicans allow a vote on jobs measures that have passed through the House.
"I see no reason to pass this inadequate bill until we see jobs legislation coming out of the Senate," said Pelosi in a statement. "House Democrats are saying to Republicans in the Senate: Show us the jobs! (exclamation mark hers)"
{snip}
They primitives appear to be all agog over Nazi Nancy's stance. (I hear she has a wide stance btw)
But then there is dissension in the ranks.

7. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, please don't
We are a small business, rely heavily on Medicare...Our employees make $30-$40K a year, if they get a 21% cut, it will be all over for everyone.
Our Medicare claims have been on hold for two weeks now...No cash flow, no money for rent and food for our employees (and ourselves really). Medicare holds claims for 14 days as is, so we are already weeks behind on billing
So far, we have had no income for any work done in June 2010 - Zero!

Never fear it is always better to fix blame than fix problems for dummies.

With your dire need, the republicans then are to blame. You and others in the same boat should continue complaining, and heartily. This is what SHOULD move them to get legislation done...but the repugs are so determined to bring the current government down & destroy what's left of our democracy.
They are so juvenile in their thinking that they are not looking down the long road. I think they are commiting suicide for their party; and rightly so. Between them and the tea-baggers, they should extinct themselves into oblivion.
How does that help you right now? I don't think it does. This is the painful part we all feel for what George Bush has done to our country and consequently all that needs to be done.
Edit:
BTW, we have received a 19% cut in our pay beginning June and 23% the year before that without an increase in pay. You are right, it is devastating.

11. I have one person who makes about $1500 a month with us, her rent is $850.00...Another
Single mother who makes $2500 a month, car pmt, rent, food, gas to work...etc. I know she really struggles, I always give them an advance sometime half way into each month...etc. With the new HC law, I wanted to offer everyone health insurance, we looked into it, only 1 employee out of 17 said they can afford to pay their share of the premiums...etc.

14. If she struggles, think of all of the single mothers who take in a lot less than that.
A lot of single mothers would be delighted if they could get anywhere near $2500 a month.
I just posted to another thread where a dummy was pointing out the pay scale of an E-4 which I believe he quoted at around $2500, HUM maybe some of those single moms should be looking for a recruiter??
And Lurking Dumpmonkeys, you have been in charge with a majority since the 2006 election. Wassa matta you, can't get er done? Maybe it isn't the mean Republicans after all. Or are you admitting they are just to darn smart for you.
Go ahead Nan, shut down the DR fix. I am sure the Gray Panthers will remember you at the polls come November.
