FirstLight (9,039 posts)We're beyond Constitutional Crisis...So, we all know that much of this farce of a Presidency has been one for the record books. None of us have ever seen the crap that is happening on a daily basis. Beyond the election tampering, beyond the slow and steady dismantling of the State Dept, and more... I swear, every day is just a shitstorm, even the historians are shaking their heads at this stuff... But here's my big question: Since we KNOW the election was tampered with on MULTIPLE levels, and we are pretty assured that Trump and much of the West Wing is going down... Does the list of who's next in line actually apply? Especially if some of those in line are gonna be ousted/indicted as well? At what point do we declare the last Election a farce and install the person who won the Popular Vote? Could it happen? Will we have to re-write some of our rules to cover things like this? I am in no way a legal or political know it all...so go easy on me. I just wonder at what point can the Congress change the game? (considering we get a Dem Majority next year?)https://www.democraticunderground.com/10029911244

You are beyond stupid. How is that DUmmie?

That would require waiting until AFTER the election next year. IF that were possible, I say the new DemMajority vote Hillary Speaker, and THEN impeach the Republican Ticket.THAT would be justice done.
I'll bet dollars to donuts that Hillary reads crap like this and still has hopes. The fun is to crush her a second time.
I always thought we were in some sort of Constitutional crisis beginning January 20, 2009, when we installed a president who didn't give a damn about the rule of law or the Constitution. We survived, but damn, it was a close-run thing.
