Willie this was a hard one because I kept waivering between BouncyBall and CalPeg, being the poet laureate of DU and all which is about as far as she'll ever get because her poetry is more difficult to read than watching paint dry while sitting in a port-a-potty. In the end, I picked BouncyBall because her legacy still lives on everyday and while most DUmmies have been but poor imitations of the original, still they do have a goal to shoot for.
For the Annie I my choice is Alan Grayson. Eventhough he's only been there a short while (and may never come back though I think we all hope he does), he truly represents the spirit of the Annie. One of life's losers. And not just any loser, but an insane, crass, perpetually pissed off loser. In other words, a perfect representation of all things DUmmie. A moonbat who, by a fluke election, had a chance to break the chains of moonbattery and make something of himself. But he was completely incapable of surviving in the real world among (mostly) civilized folk. In the end all he could DU was beg his fellow DUmmies for money...and even that failed. No one but Andy has managed to get the selfish DUmmies to part with scads and wads of money. Still, even after such a landslide loss they still want him to run for president. They hold him up as the Great White Hope while the rest of the country considers this loser the Great White Dope.

Bobbolink - she can sniff out a homeless thread like a dog can sniff out a bone that it buried months ago. She refuses all help while whining and lamenting the condition of the homeless, a condition she chose. And she does all this while posting from an iPhone.

Calpeg - She's got this creepy habit of calling everyone "my dear" and never met a picture thread where she didn't post her latest insult to the human race. And there's still speculation about her gender (or lack thereof). Poet laureate of DU, she spews forth words like a bad case of explosive diarrhea...stink stink stink stink.
NanceGreggs - Oh lord I have a hard time getting through her drunken screeds. Longwinded and short on substance and style. Queen of platitudes and stereotypes which she repeats in nearly every "letter to the right" she taps out on her keyboard. But somehow she never has the guts to come over here and defend her assumptions. A coward with a thesaurus is a dangerous thing.
EFerrari - She almost rated the Annie, but she's simply too stupid for an award...any award. Trailer trash who once had a good life with a successful husband that she pissed away, partly by devoting too much attention to a fund raiser for a shyster she never met. Now she lives with mom (who she's always putting down) in some kind of single wide or something, and laments her jailbird sons. She badmouths her ex and all his faults and yet, when the opportunity to change her DUmmie name, she chose his. Her life has now become a pathetic memory of what she had and threw away like the heirloom roses her brother pulled out by their roots from her window boxes.
Stinky the Clown - Where to begin...and I think if I start it will sound like one of Nance's screeds. The King of the Litterbox really doesn't need an explanation does he?
w8lifting lady - Battling alcohol and refuses to go to AA because it's too "right wing", whereas most people don't even think politics when they think of AA. They don't even specify which god (or higher power) one looks to for help...she could worship wood elves if that's her thing. In spite of being in a drunken stupor (and evidently between bouts of pumping iron) she planned to write weekly letters to the editor about the latest cause du jour. No word as to whether she actually followed through. The perfect DUAC!
Taverner - Perfect angry liberal! Wants to start a left wing militia but doesn't even own a gun. Celebrates the early demise of his fellow citizens simply because they have a different point of you. At one time protest and disagreement were patriotic but now expects tea party people to die early...Alan Grayson would be so proud. Oh, and he hates the world because they don't give him shit. Hates the Constitution but refuses to move to a country more to his liking.
TheStraighStory - biggest ***** on DU...turns down a great job to stay near his ex wife who left him for another guy because she's supposed to be dying of some undiagnosed disease. Oh, and he wants to be around to help his daughter through the trauma (who shouldn't even have been told mommy was going to die before they even knew whether it was true). Completely sappy without a shred of manhood in him as witnessed by penning of
this poem written to his wife, or the wife of Wyatt Earp, he can't decide. I know, I know it was written before the wife started sleeping with the guy they were shacking up with but it really represents him perfectly.
