Seriously, we'd have to double the size of our ground forces to be able to invade Iran, and that wouldn't suffice to stay for a long war. The place is twice the size of Iraq and heavily populated, and the major cities are spread around rather than being relatively concentrated like Iraq's. A ground invasion, anything beyond a large scale incursion and exit, just isn't in the cards militarily.
