I know we've done some of this scattered about, but this is the official pet picture thread. Let's see those fur and feather babies.

Eddie, the best dog I've had.  Killed in a fight Jan 28th.

I just had to put one of our cats down about an hour ago, here he is from a couple of years ago.

Thanks MM, he was in a lot of pain and had not eaten for three days, so we knew it was time.

awww... i had to do that for my daughters 16 year old cat at thanksgiving a couple of years ago. ive sworn it off for the rest of my life - that is hard stuff. He's beautiful though!

and I think my dog is actually Bailey up above... his name is Brady which is close enough.

I use that designation since we have three others, one for my wife and each of my boys.

I am soo sorry.  I had to say goodbye a few months ago to my beloved kitty of 25 years -- I am still in mourning.

Here is my Tiger, died of a hairball after 12 years. BTW, in my divorce he was the one thing I got from that bitch that really pissed her off.

Oh, my heart goes out to you. Losing a pet is incredibly painful but definitely worth it to have them in our lives. We went through the same thing a couple years ago with our 17 year old cat. She helped raised 2 boys. I figure she deserved the rest.
