I thought I'd share some of No. Ca. just to show you it's not all bad!
These pics are from this past Fri-Mon where I went deer hunting.
This area is approx 20-25 miles north of Truckee and is at an elevation of 7500-8000 ft.
The heat didn't help much, but I actually got within 50 yards of some bucks but other hunters that had come in from the other side of the ridge I was working shot one of the bucks about 75 yards from me.
This is one of the forks of the Little Truckee River. You can't see it, but it's out in the middle of the valley.
