Well said, and something we should all consider
AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
Dear President Obama, You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

I swore years ago to defend this country against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC........and to my suprise swore this oath again almost a year ago to the day.

Hi Crazy Horse,
H5 for your remarks to say the least. What a lot of folks may not realize is this. I am 13 months from my 70th birthday and am a member of two gun clubs. Most of the members are retired military, hunters and I will say that a whole lot of them are retired as I am. Damn straight we will defend our country from all enemies foreign and domestic. I was shooting three times this week already and the current state of our country is constantly discussed.
I jokingly tell folks that they should be very wary of a 70 year old man with one gun. First of all he probably knows how to handle it because he feels he only needs one. Second is, at this point in life, he figures he has a heck of a lot less to lose than most folks. I can say this in all sincerity. I have concluded that I am more than willing to die for something I believe in, and would much rather do that than sit in a nursing home drooling in my Cheerios.
Like a lot of folks, as I get older I do not go looking for trouble, but let it come to me and I am totally committed to respond to it.
All the limp wristed liberals do not like the military, hate war, etc. Now just who does BO think will enforce this stuff when they find that the civilian population does not take kindly to what they are trying to do and will fight to protect their personal sovereignty? Most all the military and police are on our side, so who is left that would be committed to lay their life on the line to enforce the communist agenda? Personally I do not think it will come to that. At the same time if you have tried to buy any .223 or .308 ammunition lately you will find that a whole lot of folks are prepared to defend themselves and their family. I spoke with a major arms manafacturer last week and the backlog on the .223 ammunition is now standing at 13 months.
AMEN my friend, I will be proud to stand with you.

I'm 63 and they're a lot of people my age that have never voted....never even registered. Most have the feeling, "What's the use, it's not going to change anything".....but ....but...most are what would be called rightwing, or under the new administration, "rightwing god fearing, gun loving Terrorist" ...and they will stand up and be counted if and when the liberals make their grand push to take away their weapons.
I've begged some to just once, just once, go vote your displeasure with the way things are....no luck. But if comes down to taking their guns, they'll vote with lead.
