VIDEO: Is YouTube CHEATING Creators Out of Their Earnings?

As you can see in this video, YouTube is officially claiming that all revenue earned by creators up to the moment of demonetization of their channels will be REFUNDED to the advertisers if the demonetization period lasts for more than 50 days. Since the vast majority of channels that are demonetized remain so for more than 50 days, this affects quite a bit of creators and revenue. The strange thing is that demonetized channels at least up to September 2020 were paid their earnings up to the point of demonetization as happened to my DUmmie FUnnies channel. However, starting at least by early 2022, that policy had changed so as to deny that revenue to the creators.

Does YouTube really return the creators' (and their own) revenue earned by demonetized channels in the form of refunds to the advertisers? Is this even legal? I hope Congress soon looks into this matter. In particular YouTube must be required to provide DOCUMENTATION that such refunds are made to the advertisers as they claim.
