Tony Stewart just introduced himself as Dale JR.  :rotf:

That's good stuff, I was laughing so hard that my cat is staring at me nervously.

I'm waiting for a big pileup.  Tempers are going to flare up.

That deal with Stewart an Kenseth.

That was good stuff. The commentators tried to spin it off as someone coming down or someone pushing up.

Looked to me like they just agreed to disagree.

It hurts Stewart more then Kenseth since he is a team owner and defending cup champ.
He's pretty much out of the chase now.

Oh well, Rowdy is in second place for the time being.

Stewart is 9th in points. I'm not sure if this will keep him out of the chase or not.

I am surprised the Patrick lasted as long as she did. I picked her for the first out in my poll.

And JJ better not get another championship this season. If he does, I am done with NASCAR.

Has the fascination with DP waned yet ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I think DP will be out of a ride after this season. She sucks.

I am still trying to figure out why Gordon had Farmville for his sponsor...

Oh no, shes one of the drivers I pay attention to

She hasn't been able to buy a break this year though.

At the Glen, Ryan Truex lost it, goes thru the grass in circles and who gets taken out, Danica. It's a damn shame I think.

I suppose it's just racin.

Also, for what its worth park your fanny by Danica's trinket trailer and explain to me that nobody cares.

The only reason JR has a Hendricks ride is because he is a cash cow.

Correction, the only reason Jr. is at Hendrick is because Teressa denied Sr's will and refused to give him DEI.

Correction, JR went to Hendricks because he saw the writing on the wall.

He could have stood and fought for DEI or gone to Hendricks.

The will gave it to Teresa, If that is wrong prove it.

Yeah. Danica was doing pretty good. Staying out of trouble, not bothering anyone, not a single scaratch on her car for what 430? laps....then, as I saw it, she pulled down on the 78 car and wrecked herself.

I figure that, in the pool I'm in, I'll still be in the Top 20 (among the 64 or so people) after this race.

I can't find it now. But my understanding was the Sr. left DEI to Jr. in his will. Jr. and Teresa never did get along; and she screwed him over by not giving him even part of the company, which was what Sr. had intended. Either way you look at it. DEI is just a holding company for Sr.'s memorabilia, charity foundation, and car dealerships now. Teresa merged the racing part with Ganassi Racing and now Chip has full control over that part.

I gotta say, I don't see the hype about DP. Her promotion is based entirely on being a moderately attractive female, with a nice figure, and fairly well spoken, not for skill as a race car driver. Sexist, if you ask me, but sex does sell, I just see them shortselling the purists. I have seen the same phenomenon in Tennis, and golf. It just doesn't work.
