Something that happened yesterday has me angry.

My parents live in a condo complex because they can no longer take care of their house. I am married to Filipina and she has a 4 year old daughter who worships the ground I walk on. No brag, just fact .
Anyway, yesterday Tiffany wanted to visit grandma and after calling my parents, we all agreed that it was just a dandy idea. We arrived at the complex, I punched in the security code and my mom buzzed us in. My sister and her S.O. were over there for a visit as well and they wanted to take her out to a local park to play on the slides. So off they went.
Around a half hour later they came back, called my mom and she went ahead and buzzed them in. But, while in the lobby, they encountered some elderly people who said, "This is a security building, you have to be let in." Scott, my sis's S.O. said, "ok we're doing that now." And the woman replied, "I don't think the Asian child is welcome here." Then the door opened and my sis, her S.O. and Tiffany went up to the condo. The lady then commented to her friend, "They let them in anyway." Scott related this incident to me and I said that it was probably a good thing she didn't say that to me because I may have reacted in an ugly manner. I know damn well I would have said something, likely rude. My mom said that, while it's a pretty good place to live, there are some old folks who are set in their ways and won't change now. That may be, but when they are disparaging a sweet little kid like Tiffany, who loves everybody, that's where I draw the line. And quite frankly, I don't care about one's age, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I will stick up for my step daughter no matter what and if someone makes prejudicial remarks toward her, they better be ready for what will follow.
:whatever:

65. Two things

Enjoy it while it lasts, your daughter worshiping the ground you walk on.

Secondly, I would be pissed too.

One of my elderly neighbors actually sold her apartment and moved away (ironically to a black couple) when another black couple moved in. There goes the neighborhood, I know.

maybe it was when she moved in

Let me guess.  The elderly people who made the comment are white.  :whatever:

Bouncy in the negative numbers.
What a horrid little lie.  :bird:

They may have been white but they weren't conservative.

Conservatives like Asians.

They're good at math.

Not really Frank, back years ago I went into unbelievable shock over what happened in Florida.

National news and People Magazine picked up the story.

A retired couple in early 60's sold their home and moved into an Adult Only Community.   After a year or two their only child and husband died in a car accident leaving a 10-12 year old daughter.

As the only family the grandchild had they moved her in with them.   This poor child was not with the grandparents for a month when complaints began to come in to the HOA about her living there.

Interviewed these nice neighbors all so kind looking spewed such hate and venom at this child, it was really unbelievable.   Everyone in the complex was white, no racial overtones.

The grandparents had to sell at a loss their home, I wonder if these mean old farts had children of their own that never came to visit.   Really odd that this area had managed to get home owners with no compassion to get this riled up over the child, an orphan staying 3-4 weeks with their grandparents.

The more I see of human nature, the more I love my DOG.

Retirement village, means retirement village, not children's daycare.
If the "child" is being disruptive, they have every right to complain.

Rules, laws, and taxes don't apply to libs. That is among many other things libs don't think apply to them.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Exactly.

My first impression of this tale is its less "bouncy" and more "stretchy" - I suspect the actual event was 'racially embellished' by the primitive. I believe that the primitive's parents live in a community which does not allow young children.

To be fair, libs believe there are things that DO apply to them as well -

Free healthcare
Living wage
Free abortions and other forms of 'contraception'
Reparations and other stipends to be paid to just about every minority race including the Hispanic pseudorace.

etc etc etc.

Precisely what it is. Primitive tries to inject race for DUmp cred.
I'm almost surprised (almost) that the DUmbass would drag in a retirement village to advance racist views.

I find the term "significant other" far more insulting.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Liberals move into these childless oasis to get away from their own offspring....so when ever they see a young'n they think they're as bad as their own.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

It was a seniors-only retirement community.

The DUmmy and his shack-up dumped her kid there while they went off on a two-week drunk.

The old folks complained about a screaming rugrat living there for days on end.

The old lady called and told the DUmmy to sober up and come get the brat.

He posted at the DUmp.

I think this is an interesting disclaimer.  The DUmmy doesn't say that he has a daughter, or a step daughter, but rather "...she has a 4 year old daughter..."

Every adoptive or step parent I've ever known has always laid claim to the child, as in 'this is my son/daughter' when making introductions.  Perhaps later adoption/step may be discussed, but I've never ever heard it on the initial introduction.

Perhaps internet is different, or this DUmmy is just trying for more DUstreet cred in some strange way.
This too shall pass.
