There is a quiet fellow who usually just eats his lunch in the local restaurant. He usually never says anything to anybody. Just eats and leaves. I don't even know his politics.

About a dozen Romney supporters were in there yucking it up about how Romney was going to win big.

This guy calmly pulled out his wallet and counted out 10 one hundred dollar bills and laid them on the counter in front of him.

Then he asked the group of Obama haters if any one of them wanted to bet a thousand dollars that President Obama would not win this election he would cover the bet. Said if someone wanted to take the bet he would let the restaurant owner hold the cash until after the election.

There wasn't one taker.

It was a marvelous thing to witness.

No bong. There is nothing there about talking at the top of his voice, people listening around him, people jumping out the bushes, masses of people converting to democrat, and getting a round of applause as he walked out the door.

Do it now DUmmie, the banks open tomorrow and I don't like walking around in a liberal run world with that much cash on me.

Oh, and BTW, if the restaurant owner isn't conservative, I wouldn't trust him.

About a month after Teh Immaculation of Teh Obamessiah, I bet a co-worker who calls himself an 'independent' (but is a raving moonbat) $100 that Obama would lose this election.  He was 100% certain that he was going to win, and he told me so repeatedly--but when I offered to bump it to $1,000, he wouldn't do it.  He said that his BS degree was in political science, and that he knew how hard it was for an incumbent to be defeated after his first term.  I told him that both Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush had something to say to him.  Anyway, I saw him last Friday at Opening Day of Saratoga Race Course.  He told me that the election was '50-50' now.  Oh well! :fuelfire: :-)

How come the quiet lunch eater didn't redistribute his money to someone more deserving. Someone like 0bama.

Why does he have $1000 anyway. I'm surprised Grouchy old Don didn't redistribute it for him.

Anyway, there is no way for the quiet eater to win. If Romney wins, he's out $1000. If 0bama wins, he's out $1000.

I just read all the responses in Don's bouncy, and my question is:  Do the DUmmies *really* believe a tale such as this, or do they merely type in a response indicating belief to enhance their street cred with other DUmmies?

I'm sure some, maybe most, of the DUmpmonkeys actually believe these ludicrous tales.

Their enthusiasm makes it politically awkward for the the tiny segment of DUmpmonkeys who have enough perception to see how ridiculous the bouncy is.

Pointing out the silliness of a tale like Don's fantasy causes friction within the DUmp and damages the street cred of anyone who shows a glimmer of normal intelligence.

Most DUmpmonkeys consider normal intelligence one of the most reliable clues for identifying a mole.
