John Kass' cooking get togethers are always great! From time to time, he does turkeys, beer can chickens, etc.
On saturday, Aug. 17, I'm getting up early to spit roast whole pigs over wood coals. Beer will be cold. Every year that we do Cooking with Kass, a few people ask me afterward why didn't I tell them. Well, I'm telling them here. A few tickets remain. I don't make one dime from it. But I do it on the chance that readers might like to hang out, have a few pops, and tell stories. Can't do that. Kass would love it, but the Rahmster would have you tossed into the hoosegow.
The cops general like Kass a lot. I doubt anyone could get through them.

Chicago is a neat and amazing city. I used to live a couple hours away.
