Third largest city is two days into a teacher's strike, and the DUmp is almost deadly silent. No way to blame Republicans or Trump, so it simply isn't news.
But of the ever diligent Omaha Steve, apparently still kicking, does care.

Chicago Public Schools classes are canceled Thursday ahead of a planned teachers strike.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot says she can’t accept the Chicago Teachers Unions’ demands, saying they would cost $2.5 billion that the city can’t afford.
“We value the workers ... Honoring that value is who I am and what I stand for," the mayor said. “But I also must be responsible for the taxpayers who pay for everything that goes on.”
CTU President Jesse Sharkey announced late Tuesday that the union’s bargaining “cannot recommend postponing the strike” because Lightfoot’s camp hasn’t provided adequate resources to improve conditions and equity in the schools.
Is the bigger news here that libs are virtually silent or that the weeping neckbeard is still alive?

I would say it is that he is still alive. Daggone its taking this fool a long time to die! I've had dogs that didn't live as long as its taking him to die.

Well, I thought for sure he'd passed on to the other side when I heard a rumor one of the cemeteries around Omaha had to special-lease some sort of giant earth-mover like what's used around Duluth, Minnesota. The rumor was wrong, though.
