MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - United States marshals shot and killed a man in Memphis Wednesday night, sparking a major protest.

At least 36 Memphis police officers and Shelby County deputies were injured in the chaos. According to Memphis Police Director Mike Rallings, a crowd of people gathered after the shooting in protest, and some became unruly and began to throw rocks.

Brandon Webber was wanted by U.S. Marshals for a list of felony charges in DeSoto County

People start rioting and 36 police officers are injured. Another summer of discontent.

The deceased committed felonies in MI, crossed the border into TN, tried to kill Federal Marshals several times, and when finally stopped, had gun in hand when he got out of his car. IMO, every A-hole who rioted in support of him deserves his prison sentence for his multiple attempts at murder.

You misunderstand the purpose of this riot. It wasn't about injustice, it was about free stuff and destruction.

Followed several years later by the O.J. circus.  Black folks in LA supported his acquittal as payback for Rodney King.
