1. Qualified yes
Only if the progressives would write, call, etc like the wingnuts do...until then, no.

2. Heck no
even back in the late 60s, when anti war protests heated up, the word was that it would be far more likely that the US would become a fascist state before it ever became even a socialist one. Prediction has, sadly, come true.

4. Yes!
We are far too cynical and apocalyptic here.

Conservatism is just about out of fuel, and Liberalism is undergoing a major renovation. Given fifty years of even semi-intelligent governance, America can re-emerge as the main engine of social progress.

We will look back on these days fondly, when Barak, Hillary and John took our hand and started us down this road.

Well they already feel like they are oppressed...they just want a form of government that verifies their feelings.

I'm still waiting on the explanation of how we are a fascist state.
Destroy all that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish

Women and children are precious resources to be protected at all costs.  Men are expendable commodities whose function is to protect those resources, at all costs.

So how does it feel to know that someone's kid in the heart of america has blood on their hands to defend your rights so you can maintain a lifestyle that insults his family's existence?

Well they should move to Cuba if they want that.

Cuba is a paradise and the only reason it's the way it is is because of greedy Capitalist pigs in Amerikkka. /DUmmie.  :-)
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Freedom for individuals is oppression for the masses.   Reconcile that one in your head. :)
