Ruby Ridge
« on: January 20, 2020, 10:57:56 AM »
We've been watching the Fox show on Ruby Ridge. I didn't know much about it at the time, for a lot of reasons, but I have some questions. I know so little about the logistics involved in this kind of thing, and I am sure people here will know.

First, the alphabet agencies involved in this claim that they didn't know that Samuel Weaver was dead. What!?! An ATF agent had shot him, in the back, and he had dropped in front of them, right? There was no way the agent who had shot him, at the very least, wouldn't have known that he was dead.

Second, they claimed that Randy Weaver had killed the agent, but they also should have known that it wasn't Randy, right? Since it had happened right in front of them.

So, was there no communication between the agencies, or between the officers involved and their own agency? Or, had they decided to ignore the info they had? Or, was there a "whose is bigger" thing going on between the ATF and the FBI?

Who changed the ROE? Were there any consequences for that person?
