primitive notices something about 100% Dear Leader cult members

I've started to notice something about those who praise Obama 100% of the time.

Take a look around. Those that are fully in Obama's camp, and tend to defend everything he does, rarely seem to go on record as to their own opinions on policy BEFORE Obama makes a decision; it seems instead that they will praise whatever decision he makes - after the fact.

Tonight, Olbermann interviewed Howard Fineman who claimed that a compromise is in the works for Obama to extend the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

If you are someone who supports Obama 100% of the time on DU, will you go on record now with your opinion? Should Obama compromise? I don't want this to be about will he or won't he - SHOULD he?

I'll go on record as saying he shouldn't, and that I'll have a more favorable opinion of him if he doesn't.

What about YOU? Will you go on record?

The same can be said for those who are the remaining members on Skin's island, the 99% Dear Leader worshippers.  Over the years of observing the primitives, they typically never form an opinion on any issue until their leaders tell them the position to take, and then they call what they've done "independent thinking" and turn around and say Republicans/conservatives march in lock-step when it is them all along.  But I do agree the 100% Dear Leader worshippers are much worse than the 99% Dear Leader worshippers.

Naturally, this thread was locked by Skin's as "independent thinking" has to be controlled, you know.

"I have an opinion...I just haven't been told what it is yet."

Oh Good Grief. Their local chieftan locked the thread as "an attack on other DUers." If that's an attack, ANY disagreement with anyone else is an attack. The OP was making a meta-distinction. Despite being substantively wrongheaded as far as any presidential policy goes, this DUer was actually making an interesting point.

Why in the world would anyone want to subject themselves to this kind of suffocating orthodoxy? Some of these dopes even pay the the privilege of being shut up.

38. What babylonsister said. I agree.
:lmao:

Some other leech over there would be willing to go along with the top tier tax deal, as long as she got 2 more years of unemployment.  That make for 4 years of living off someone else's dime.  Doesn't it ever get boring, just lounging around?  Don't they ever worry about how that looks on an already anemic resume?

To be fair, they do have a certain contingent of highly independent thinkers...they're all crazy as shit-faced hoot owls, of course, but they are, ahhh, 'Independent.'

1. I can't get behind any politician who will permit further tax cuts for the wealthy

We have too great a need for that money for the very government we say we want in the US. The whole trickle down thing is a bust and everyone who doesn't have an IQ of 70 or below knows it.

It's not further tax cuts :banghead: it's just a continuation of the tax cuts, there's no new tax cuts, and the need for that money you're talking about is for frigging social benefits, the gravy train needs to end, we're running our of gravy and the train needs fixing!

Thank God that "tax cuts for the wealthy" crap doesn't work on most of the country anymore. The one thing 0bama has done is shown the huddled masses they want NO part of socialism/fascism/boy-king crap.

When I read that, the first name that leapt to mind was Bobo The Hobo, who manages to take issue with every single moonbat in The Hive, even the ones who totally agree with her.

Dead on, we're dealing with someone who's not happy unless they're not happy--and making everyone else as unhappy as it.
