Today, in the Safeway parking lot --


A rather burly fellow, forty-something, approached as I was putting my groceries in the car. He stopped, pointed at my prominent Hillary sticker and said, “I still can’t believe what happened.”

I answered with “And we thought W was awful.” He shook his head and said “Yeah, W was stupid but he wasn’t evil.”

“With him, he’d say or do something once a week; now it’s every day, sometimes every hour,” I said. “But we sure can’t stop now.”

He tried to smile as he almost whispered, “It’s hard. Most days I just feel like crying.”

“I know the feeling. But we have every reason to hang in there,” I said.

He gave a small thumbs-up as he walked away shaking his head.


And once more I’m glad that I chose to keep all those stickers.

I answered with “I know, I finally figured out I am a liberal dimocrap loser. ” He shook his head and said “Yeah, you liberals sure are a bunch of  stupid asses.l.”

He  smiled as he almost whispered, “There are cops in the bushes over there and they are going to take you into custody and send you to a FEMA camp”



He gave a small thumbs-up as he walked away shaking his head wondering how all us liberals could be so stupid. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
