That won't happen until long after we've all kicked the bucket.

The senate passed the debt deal and now Lord Zerø is patting himself on the back.

And no Republicans who voted against the bill will be excluded from the special group.

I guess none of these assholes read the damned thing.  :banghead:  :argh:

The American public is ONCE again screwed over by the government.

The American public is ONCE again screwed over by the government aristocracy.

The subjects of our wonderful new thugocracy need to get used to this. Only citizens would have a say, one way or the other. We are obviously the former /not the latter as it appears to be agreed upon by "leaders" of both partys now. They (our masters) must have a good laugh, slapping each other on the back behind closed doors. I can just imagine them yucking it up and saying to one another "Those fools ... hahaha. We really had them going ..."

Sen DeMint says we may soon face national bankruptcy because of this Reid/Boehner/Obama Bill.

So Obama is giving up $2T in cuts and/or savings over ten years ($200 billion a year) in return for $2T now, which will most likely be spent in six months given the way this guy burns through money.

Great job.

I'm thinking a good chunk will be used in vote buying schemes during the summer of 2012.

Heritage is losing its mind over the DoD cuts, rightfully so.

Cutting funds to national security will rally the GOP base (and dare I say Independents) like nothing we have ever seen -- more so than the drum beating for small government.   This may be the turning point we have been looking for.

There may just be a silver lining to this what-the-hell-are-they-thinking deal.

Unfortunately, it's the current GOP leadership that is selling this load of crap.

The voters are what I am talking about -- you can talk about messing with a lot of things, but the military?  don't mess with them.    Save for the lunatic libertarians and their sister progressive freak shows, the rest of America is VERY patriotic.    This will be a tremendous campaign issue.

I don't think there is one member of Congress whose seat is safe right now.

It's only a matter of time.

If he could be here today I wonder what President Reagan would have to say to the current republican leadership.
