Hundreds of haitian orphans are being shipped to Florida, courtesy of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.  I wouldn't be surprised of the number inflates to thousands.  I really have no problem saving these orphans, provided they are adopted by responsible american citizens.  But something tells me they will be eaten up by the Florida foster system and be on the taxpayer dime for a long time.  A similar program was done in the 60's or 70's with Cuban children.

Seeing how the crowds rush the Helos when they come into the LZ with food and water .. its just a matter of time before someone becomes "ground round" from the rotors.

Maybe its time to use the GPS guided chutes on pallets airdropped  into a DZ that we can secure.  The chutes are accurate to 30 meters.

I find it absolutely hillarious - and not a little suspicious - that we have all this attention being focused on Haiti, when there have also been earthquakes in Venezuela, Argentina, and Solomon Island, all within the same timeframe of the Haiti quake, and none of which are garnering anywhere near the same degree of attention from the state-run propaganda ministry as the perpetual trainwreck that is Haiti has.

Where the hell are the 200,000 death tolls coming from?

Last I'd heard, the Hatian government was guess-timating that the death toll might creep as high as 1,000.
