1. I hope everyone votes NO on his job prospects.

Probably; as someone right on the ground here in Nebraska, I suspect our senior U.S. senator is trying to ease into retirement with dignity, as it's obvious he wouldn't win re-election in 2012, given his caving-in to the bosses in the Senate, voting for the health care act.

He's not a young man; I wouldn't be surprised to see him voluntarily riding off into the sunset.

6. When is he up for election again?

I want to make sure all the people in leadership positions in the Democratic party have their schedules cleared. This way they can take a break from complaining how they can't get anything done with the Democrats they have, so that they campaign for him like they did with Lincoln.

7. He's going to run against us as his 2012 campaign theme.

And considering he's from Nebraska, it should work handily.

9. That a-hole needs to be thrown out of the Dem caucus and remove the D next to his name. **** him and his ilk.

Lincoln and Lieberman are very deserving people to be thrown out as well.

16. Positioning for a party switch if we lose more than seven seats?

Along with Lieberman of course.

Won't ever happen.

What the primitives don't know is that the senior U.S. senator from Nebraska is a hard-core Democrat, who loves and cherishes the Democrat party; it flows in his blood.

18. Why doesn't that prick just switch parties right now?

He should just get it over with. Become a Republican.

20. Ae unemployed people banned from voting in Nebraska?

I just hope they have long memories come election time.

The sorry sordid story of E. Benjamin Nelson illustrates why people should vote based upon party, not upon ideology.  That is, if one is conservative, one should vote Republican, even if for a far-left Republican, and even if the Democrat candidate is more conservative.

If Olympia Snowe, for example, were the (R), and a "conservative" (D) was running against her in an election where franksolich would have a vote, franksolich would unhesitatingly vote for her.

When it comes down to the bottom line, a liberal (R) will in the end vote to uphold a conservative cause, while a conservative (D) will in the end succumb to his bully bosses.

The liberal (R) Snowe, for example, voted against the health care bill; the "conservative" (D) Nelson voted for it.

So.....which one did the most to help the conservative cause?
