By chance, I ended up in the gay forum on Skins's island.

So is anyone going to the DC march?

I am considering doing so but haven't made up my mind yet. I have never been to a national march so it is tempting.

We had reservations on an apartment and plane tickets but we just found out our dog is very ill. We are on our way to Purdue on Wednesday to see if she can be operated on. After over $1000 in vet bills so far and the potential of another $2000+ for an operation, we had to cancel. At least we can us our deposit for 6 more months if we decide to go to D.C. in the near furure but we really wanted to be there.
We still intend to organize in our district.

Ah, the old "dog is sick" excuse.

10. I am, yeah. I'll be in the area already, so it'll be easy.

And I love protests.

And then by extension, one assumes the vanquished primitive loves tea parties.

12. Yes. It will be the first grassroots march not funded by corporate interests since 1993.

Fighting for ALL our issues, a central point for unity for LGBT people. I'm going and doing fundraisers so that other locals can go.

13. I'd definitely go if the budget would allow...

Between flights and hotel and meals, it's not in the cards.

15. Well, maybe.

It was absolute until I found out my first rehearsal of the season is that Sunday. I signed my contract so....

I still hope to convince my conductor but it is my job. Damn, I was really totally looking forward to this. Even my husband was going to come with me this time.

Hmmm.  The old "I have to work" excuse.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Funded by Big Pharma maybe? Soros? Peter Lewis of Progressive Insurance? ACORN? SEIU? RCP?

WOW! I guess this DUmmie must be in the top 25% of money hoarders in the country! Wonder if any DUmbasses will notice this?

I sure can't afford to drop everything in order to go watch fags in chaps, march down Pennsylvania avenue!
I'm the guy your mother warned you about!
