Obama NASA policy
« on: April 15, 2010, 08:44:17 AM »
I don't know if anyone else here has mentioned it, but the NASA policy of the Messiah is going to hurt the Military and national defense. Without a manned space program, we will not be able to repair Sats in orbit. It could possibly hurt our ability to replace ageing defense sats due to lower availability of launch vehicles. Spy Sats, GPS, comm, will all eventually suffer. Even Neil Armstrong is chastising the Chosen one.
I guess our NERO is here to watch Rome burn.

Did you see him backpedaling today?  It was on MSNBC.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

It is a colossally devestating move for our force multipliers. China will set up the shooting gallery in North Korea momentarily...

I didn't really see him make any commitment to anything today. He made claims, but what he claims needs planning, development, training, testing and manufacturing. Years before anything could or would happen, and he doesn't even have a plan, just words.

Let's not forget the newest part of NASA's program, proving that man-made climate change is real.

No surprise, huh?

http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/04/obamas-nasa-speech-completely-staged-no-nasa-employees-allowed-to-attend/

Quote
Obama traveled to Florida to speak to NASA. Except that he didn’t. NASA employees were not allowed to attend the speech. This only became known after it was leaked out during a live segment on MSNBC by Jay Barbree — the longtime NBC science correspondent.
Via Doug Ross:

BARBREE: …I’m a little disturbed right now, Alex. I just found out some very disturbing news. The President came down here in his campaign and told these 15,000 workers here at the Space Center that if they would vote for him, that he would protect their jobs. 9,000 of them are about to lose their job. He is speaking before 200, extra hundred people here today only. It’s invitation only. He has not invited a single space worker from this space port to attend. It’s only academics and other high officials from outside of the country. Not one of them is invited to hear the President of the United States, on their own space port, speak today. Back to you Alex.

People seem so surprised when they realize the ONE is a liar, most of us saw it the first time he opened his mouth.

I just finished reading Dan Browns novel, Deception point.

Published in 2001 most likely written a few years before that.

Interesting that the plot involved the private sector that wants to go into space desperately.    They are ready to give law makers billions to put down NASA.

Their big complaint was that NASA would underbid them by millions then drive the tax payers to anti up the extra money they need.

There are actual laws that prevent a private company from any kind of advertising on our ships, If for instance Pepsi decides to launch a private vehicle at their expense, they cannot paint the Pepsi logo on the ship.

If we close down or hog tie NASA the private company's will come running in, this will be a disaster and the war chests of the men and woman running for President will have enough money to buy a small country.

We need NASA, privatising space will make life a mess.

The Democrats rely on entitlement vassalage of the uneducated, and the fact that far too many of the rest of the population are willing to be useful idiots.
