There must have been an influx of illegals voting this year. They all voted for obama, just like last time. And they wonder why I am all for showing ID to vote. The only reason anyone would be against it is because they are for letting illegals vote.

TRR: Allen West Seeks Recount Amid Growing Vote Count Scandal

Nov 10 Update: Allen West’s campaign is ready to “go to war” over a recount as new numbers reveal more ballots cast than voters.

...

On election night incumbent Republican Allen West had maintained a district-wide lead of nearly 2000 votes until St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker inexplicably “recounted” thousands of early ballots, resulting in 4,400 vote shift to the challenger.

...

A physical barrier had been erected making it impossible for the observers to see what was going on. After repeated objections, the observers were allowed to stand behind the people reproducing the ballots. But then the ballot workers blocked their view. “Half of the people reproducing the ballots are crowding together,” Mr. Shapiro said, “to make it impossible for anyone to see what they are doing.”

The ballot was so long in florida each one took 2 vote cards so the turnout number was really only 70.55%

heres the twitchy story about it

Out of the 247,713 cards cast, somehow election machines counted 123,591 total votes.

Looks like that is exactly what happened.

I've been looking at some of the stories. For some reason I'm reminded of Saddam's last presidential election in Iraq.

The U.N was only suppose to insure an election that made obama the winner.

That has nothing to do with the dubious turnout number, it has to do with them refusing to do a recount correctly

Quote
“Late yesterday, the St. Lucie County Board of Elections had agreed to recount all early ballots to address concerns stemming from their acknowledgement of technical errors late on Election Night in the counting of the first three days of early voting, as posted on their website.

However this morning, when observers arrived at the elections office for the 7:00 a.m. recount, they were told by the Supervisor of Elections only the final three days of early voting would be recounted, when in fact the data in question relates to the first three days of voting. During discussions about the recount, the canvassing board repeatedly tried to shoo away observers and prevent them from listening in on discussions. Apparently the have never heard of Florida sunshine laws

When questioned about counting the wrong three days of voting, the Supervisor of Elections and the canvassing board claimed the errors were in fact on the final three days, despite the record from Thursday’s canvassing board meeting showing otherwise. In addition, the Supervisor has said transcripts from the earlier canvassing board meeting will not be released until the day before the votes are certified.

If there is any question about the way the votes were counted, then recount all of the ****ing votes.

Chicago gangster government at it's worst.

Anyone here live in Florida and can answer a question ? Why does Florida have such LONG ballots EVERY election ????

I heard this time there were 11 state constitutional ammendments causing a 10 PAGE ballot.
11 state constitutional ammendments ??????

Is this a way democrats get to screw up the election ?

I know California allows anyone with enough signatures to put things on their ballot.

Elections are becoming a big circus.

We had a bunch of amendments to the metro charter on the ballot this year.  It just looked like more meddling by groups that wanted to continue to benefit from their connection with the local government.

I voted all that shit down and was out the door quickly.  None of it benefited me in the least and would have cost me if I had voted for it.

I was surprised, Calif. had a very short ballot this year.  2010 was a lot bigger. No judges this time either.  Those are the pits, because no one knows who they are or even their party affiliation.  I found a very conservative website that rates them, and I use that as a guide.

The U.N. observers were shocked that proof of who you were (re: photo ID) wasn't mandatory everywhere in the U.S.

This morning FOX reported that there would be a recount of 70k ballots in Allen West's race in St. Lucie county.

Couldn't find anything on that ^, but this article says they did a partial recount Sunday and West's camp is saying that it was a sham.

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20121112_In_59_Philadelphia_voting_wards__Mitt_Romney_got_zero_votes.html

In 59 Philadelphia voting divisions, Mitt Romney got zero votes

Looks like we are living under a Sadam Hussein type government.  Not ONE single vote ???????

Two weeks before election I contacted "the Committee of Seventy" a group in Philadelphia who claims to insure fair voting and political interaction. I visited their web site and saw ONLY a history of how THEY helped get rid of Republicans in Philadelphia city government.

I asked what they planned to do to insure a fair election in 2012. So far only crickets. Philadelphia has an estimated 10% fraudulent votes in any single election. That number could be higher.
