Not a blog post or news artice; it's personal. It happened to a friend (Jane) who forwarded her IM convo with her cousin (Dick):

Jane: r u mad at me for somethin?

Dick: hell no

Dick: why?

Jane: was ur messenger taken over by aliens the other day?

Dick: yes

Dick: 2 status messages I did not create

Dick: one about mccain

Jane: and the aliens also called me a bitch?

Dick: WHAT?

Jane: how did the status messages appear?

Dick: they were in my listings. I had to uninstall and reinstall yahoo

Jane: now my messenger says u r not on my contact list, but then when i try to add u, it says ur already on there.

Dick: one message said, "I don't care if u are a wwii veteran, if u vote for mccain u are a mf something...."

Jane: when i was talking to u, u were shouting, and missing LOTS of letters & when I asked u if ur puter was messed up, you said no, called me a bitch & signed out

Dick: omg, what day

Jane: the day the status message was there

Dick: thur?

Dick: I had someone else say something funny like that too

Basically, they got onto his yahoo account, re-wrote his away messages. My friend happened thought her cousin was just unusally drunk and surly; it seems she caught the hacker at work. He has since changed his PWs etc.

Add this to the digital thuggery of Gov Palin's email, credit card fraud and hacking of PUMA webpages.

Surely this doesn't surprise you, sir; these people always play dirty.

I'm nervous about November 4, when it becomes obvious things won't go the way the Obamaites and Obamaite primitives want them to.....and so then we're going to have disruption at polling places, interfering with the right of decent and civilized people to cast their votes.

Sort of like what the pal of the dysmenopausal Kansas school teacher did some weeks ago, purposely and wilfully trying to cause trouble.
