CC Lexicon? Hall of Fame?
« on: January 13, 2008, 03:33:12 PM »
We need some agreement on which "Site is Not to be named" TOS, TOOS, ronbot, paulistinian, etc.

Most of us have been involved with multiple referring sites and we have sort of a polyglot lingua franca.

Good idea?  Bad idea?  Additions?

And we have one Hall of Fame post already.

Yeah, I think it would be helpful to have a dictionary of commonly-used terms, for newcomers.

I nominate Freeper to write the dictionary.

Agree. I'm lousy at this so I nominate whomever is more talented in this arena.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Other than a PM, do we have a ping method?

Hey just now saw the post if I have time tomorrow I'll start the dictionary.

An acronyms for dummies guide would be useful for some.

A "Hall of Fame" i'm against though.  Why should we elevate people over others on a web forum?  Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you meant.
