I wanted to see just how "good" the premium numbers being tossed out by the liars at HHS.
For one person age 58 the cheapest I could find in my state;
$226/month
Plan Type: (network)
PPO
Deductible:
$2,500 / year
(This represents the amount you pay out-of-pocket each year before this insurance plan begins to pay for covered services.)
Coinsurance: (after deductible is paid)
20%
Office Visit:
Visit 1-5 $30 copay, deductible waived; Visit 6+ member pays 100%
If you wanted "accident" insurance add $19.00 / month..........for a "schedule of benefits" with it's own deductible and limits.
For Critical Illness, add $130/month for $50,000 of coverage. (only certain things are covered)
Bottom line.............if you are very healthy, it may be a good deal.......if not too bad. :panic:
