I am not finding any "bright spots" or hope with regard to the coming dictatorship.

Anyone who has some or an example of why we should have even a little bit of hope, please share.

I am extra down today, because we had to put our fluffy white cloud, our Great Pyrenees Ronan, down yesterday....he had cancer and was in so much pain, but he went with me, DH and our kids petting him the whole time.

This is relevant only in that I am extra-pessimistic today and, well, there is, apparently no rule of law. I remember being taught in school that the US was a nation of laws and no man is above the law. What a lie that turned out to be.

Look on the bright side, after SloJo and Kammie is out of office, Trump will hopefully start finally enforcing the laws. You know, things like stopping illegal border crossings and maybe he can even help with finally enforcing the laws in regard to all of the looting, shoplifting, and assaults in the blue controlled areas.

I don't know what hope Bettie might find, other than in Jesus and the Bible, but maybe she could start by remembering that Trump was President 2017-2020:

* The bomb threats against Jewish synagogues and community centers Dems claimed were due to Trump were, in real life, mostly from an Israeli teenager, with some from an ultra-Prog "journalist" POed that his Jewish GF dumped him;

* Dems claims that Trump was racist and could inspire lynchings and Jim Crow 2.0 were proven entirely false by Trump's 4 years as President (remind me, Bettie, who did Trump appoint Ambassador to the UN?);

* Dems claims that Trump was misogynist and would inspire sexual assaults and rapes against women, blah, blah, blah, were proven entirely false by Trump's 4 years as President (remind me, Bettie, who did Trump appoint Ambassador to the UN?);

* Dems claims that Trump was Putin's ____-holster were proven false by Putin laying low from further invasions of Ukraine until well into Biden's Presidency;

* Dems claims that Trump's dealings with Kim III would trigger WW3/nuclear war were proven false;

* Dems claims that Trump failed to take Covid seriously are disproved by news stories about his administration's actions in January and February 2020,
