I wrote this up to send to my dad. Thoughts?
I have been heartbroken ever since I saw your Trump sign in your yard.
I am writing this to explain that I am feeling shocked and frightened by what the election has revealed about our country.
Tens of millions of voters, including the both of you, voted for a fascist want-to-be dictator, and that is terrifying.
I do not feel safe with a man who says that our fallen soldiers are “suckers and losers” and mocks John McCain for his being captured.
I do not feel safe with a man who lied literally tens of thousands of times while during his four years in office.
I do not feel safe with a leader who has secret meetings with other dictators like Vladimir Putin. And who also regularly praises those dictators.
I do not feel safe with a man who regularly refers to women as “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.”
I do not feel safe with a President who keeps all his financial dealings secret.
I do not feel safe with a man who encourages violence against his “enemies.”
I do not feel safe with a leader who states (aping the words of God): “I am your retribution.”
I do not feel safe with a President-elect who says he will be a dictator on “day one.”
I do not feel safe when a leader lies about a community, like legal Haitian immigrants eating pets. And even when he is told it is untrue, he refuses to stop, or apologize.
I do not feel safe with a leader who refuses to act for the good of Americans during a pandemic. Like sending needed medical supplies to Putin, when Americans were dying here.
I do not feel safe with a leader who socializes with notorious white supremacists and anti-Semites.
I do not feel safe with a person who refuses to treat Arlington National Cemetery with respect.
I do not feel safe with a leader who leaves our allies for dead.
I do not feel safe with a President who accuses non-Whites born in the United States as non-citizens who should “go back to where they came from.”
I do not feel safe with a man who, when told his Vice President’s life was in danger, said, “So what?”
I do not feel safe with a President who said that Putin is a “genius” and “savvy” for invading his neighbor Ukraine. And refuses to say that Ukraine should prevail in their struggle to remain independent.
I do not feel safe with a leader who says he wants to bomb Mexico in retaliation for the fentanyl crisis. (In reality, most illegal fentanyl comes from China).
I do not feel safe with a leader who encourages his followers to commit acts of violence.
I do not feel safe with a False Prophet who claims to be a Man of God, when he is so obviously not. (By their fruits you shall know them).
I do not feel safe with a leader who uses Nazi inspired rhetoric: “Immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country.”
I do not feel safe with a President who steals top secret documents and lies about it.
I do not feel safe with a leader who intimidates election officials: “Look Brad, I got to get…I have to find 12,000 votes.”
I do not feel safe with a leader who threatens to deport more than 10 million people from the country. There is no way to do such a thing, on even a physical level. It would lead to concentration camps and massive numbers of dead.
I do not feel safe with a President who attempted a violent coup of our democratic process to stay in power.
I do not feel safe with a man who has bragged that he sexually molests women without their consent.
I do not feel safe with a man who publicly has expressed incestual interest in his own daughter.
That you have chosen to support such a man makes me feel extremely unsafe around you.
I cannot have you in my life until I feel safe again.

Keep this context in mind, https://conservativecave.com/cave/index.php?topic=135033.0 . I doubt her poor Dad will have either daughter over for Thanksgiving or Christmas, possibly not ever again. He should not feel safe with offspring who put politics above family. A very sad situation, a sad last however many years of his life. Hopefully he has other family and friends to fill the gap this DU-Denizen and her sister chiseled out.

My Mom died almost 7 years before my Dad did. In those years he did remarry and had several happy years before she died. I did not think of her as my stepmother, being a married adult and having my own munchkins, but I was glad for her and that they were happy. My kids adored her!

Whatever the cause, it was not so with Coventina. Her anger, bitterness, and hatred speak ill of her, as does her cutting off her father and her hateful way of doing so, but those are short of proof that the estrangement was caused by her.

  Trump cleared that up a long time ago when he told Megyn Kelley he was only referring to Rosie O'Donnell.  :)
