2014: the Willie (DainBramaged)
« on: December 23, 2014, 05:29:49 PM »
Congratulations! to this year’s winner of the William Rivers Pitt award, popularly known as “the Willie,” given to the primitive one tends most to remember, when thinking about Skins’s island.

It’s a one-time-only honor, no repeat winners.  One wins it, and one’s set for life, able to indolently rest in one’s laurels.

Past winners have been:

2009 TomInTib
2010 WilliamPitt, Bouncy Ball
2011 nadinbrzezinski
2012 Alan Grayson
2013 undergroundpanther

On this year’s ballot for the Willie were:

BainsBane
CaliforniaPeggy
DainBramaged
Redstone

- - - - - - - - - -

And the winner is…..

Walrus-face, who’s now about 63 years old, lives in northern New Jersey--in fact, in the reddest county of the state, and he’s always complained about how lousy it is--and was once computer go-fer for an automobile dealership.

But then he did something that wasn’t kosher.

I blocked FAUX on the TV at work today

felt good.

I replaced the remote that accesses the cable box channel sub- menus with a $5 basic remote and stashed the cable box remote in the rafters.

**** the Pukes.

294. Of course - goes without saying

From the OP it isn't clear to me that the employer was the one wanting the tv on Fox - so they might not be that upset about it.

But either way I the the poster certainly runs the risk of pissing off their employer and losing their job.

Stupid ****ers all.

FreeRepublic, America's excuse for school dropouts to practice spelling on public computers.

HI ASSHOLES!

And they made it easy to pick out who they are here.…

Five days after the original post, that original post was abruptly changed to:

This message was self-deleted by its author (DainBramaged) on Mon Aug 26, 2013, 02:31 PM. When the original post in a discussion thread is self-deleted, the entire discussion thread is automatically locked so new replies cannot be posted.

- - - - - - - - - -

What’d happened--there’s some deletions on the original thread on Skins‘s island; one had to be there to see it--was that members of P-J Comix’s most-excellent DUmmie FUnnies on freerepublic had identified walrus-face, and some playful ones notified his employer.

I can’t find the link to the edition of the DUmmie FUnnies that featured the issue on free republic, which shows the sequence of events, but anyway, that edition is also available at

http://dummiefunnies.blogspot.com/2013/08/get-dummie-dainbramaged-fired-for.html

although it doesn’t show the sequence.

- - - - - - - - - -

This all resulted in the two longest and most-commented-upon threads here in the DUmpster:

“DainBramaged Doug Bulna steals television remote”
http://conservativecave.com/index.php?topic=90161.0

“Has Gearhart Chevrolet Discovered Doug Bulna's Sabotage Yet?”
http://conservativecave.com/index.php?topic=90314.0

Somewhere along the line, some members of the Dumpster insisted it wasn’t decent and civilized behavior to keep beating up on walrus-face, and he was getting beat up a lot.

Well, yeah, sure; walrus-face was eviscerated.

However.

However.

However.

These same members were perhaps not aware of the long and sordid track-record of walrus-face--ten years or more of strident, incessant hate-filled bullying.

It was a long wait for walrus-face to get his due; it was high time.

To give examples of the bullying style of walrus-face, one need only to refer back to this particular thread, to see how he responded to supporters of freedom of speech and expression; walrus-face was this way in all of his threads…..for more than ten years.

60. People on my ignore list who are eating granite cookies as we speak

I am usually pretty accurate in putting people on ignore. There are some though, who continue to believe that some day, by continuing to post in thread after thread of mine I'll respond. They are sadly mistaken. Those are the foolish people who sadly only want to bring attention to themselves and not to anything worthwhile. Ignore is a good thing. It keeps some of us from losing our temper at the antics of the disruptor's, Freeper lurkers and general anarchist miscreants. (PS these folks are gone, granite cookies means g-o-n-e).

The use of alerting to delete my posts is getting tedious

Has this board become so thin-skinned and over-run by the correctness police that when ANYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT anything, POSTS GET DELETED. Never an explanation to try and correct it, even for the future, just broad brush deletions.

Are we simply trying to sterilize DU, become the quiet left, voices squelched at every turn when the seagulls want to shut down threads or mob members to prevent alternative opinions? Union threads are attacked en masse, and when you voice a Pro-union, Pro-America position or open a thread celebrating same, the posts are deleted like bowling pins. EVERYTHING is an attack. And ya know what, that is unfair.

It used to be fun here. Now it's becoming apparent that only one voice is supported.

Thanks for reading. When you try and express this on the board, it gets deleted faster than you can say President Obama.

Couldn't happen to a nicer sphincter. What an asshole.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I hope that since the Willie is a one time award it doesn't cut subsequent fields of worthy candidates down in terms of numbers and talent.

That was the plot device of Parts: The Clonus Horror and the remake The Island.

It sounds like something Skins stole to keep the DUmmies from stampeding. When Dummies die, Skins says they "won the lottery" and "retired to Florida".

Doug was an undeserving one-hit wonder.

His only real contribution was being wallduded after bragging about the remote.

His wallduding was in no way more spectacular than DUmmy cali's.

Eva's was actually better, because she stayed around afterward to absorb more punishment, whining and apologizing.

No one has heard a word about Doug since the day he was 'duded. He's a non-DUmmy now.

His wallduding was in no way more spectacular than DUmmy cali's.

Eva's was actually better, because she stayed around afterward to absorb more punishment, whining and apologizing.

No one has heard a word about Doug since the day he was 'duded. He's a non-DUmmy now.

Oh now.

And remember that like you, I'd voted for nadin for top spot.

But his self-destruction was so spectacular, so colorful, so awesome--a phenomenon worth paying to watch--one for the Ages--it shouldn't have been any wonder he won top spot that year.

The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive's self-created predicament was equally impressive, but then she did all the right things.

Walrus-face did all the wrong things--chief among them that he didn't take the advice and counsel of franksolich about how to deal with it--which made his case all the more ridiculous.
