It's all about the DOTY.

You know I have to get a few things off my chest. First of all, I cannot tell you just how disappointed I am in the twin gun grabbers Hoyt and onehandle this year. Sometimes I think they are one and the same. But this year they just haven't delivered so no DOTY nomination for them from me. GET SOME VITAMIN E guys/gals.

I had high hopes for another grabber, one newb named bigddaryl. The dude just fizzled, withered on the vine. Too bad.

Oh, and allow me to say in a general sense, I'm really disappointed that the DUmp didn't go into lockdown night of the midterms.

Ok, enough of that. Yes he is new and quite possibly a mole. This candidate for the DOTY reminds me in many way of the primitive ProSense. Really has the talking points down and puts the kabash on any piker that even thinks of challenging his position. I like that in a DUmmy. New to the DUmp it's true but credit where credit is due, I nominate for DOTY  KingCharlemagne aka... CharlieMange. My DUmmy mole had a brief exchange with him.

Coach, maybe we should have a rookie of the year award?

No, that's not why, but that's pretty good.

Manny kept the hive stirred up this past year, with his rants and his "Third Way Manny" posts. So I have to give him a couple of points for that. Same with WillyT and cali.

To me, this past year has been a battle between the "we must defend Obama/Democrats no matter what" group and the "we either get back to being FDR Dems or why are we even doing this" group. So I'd say the focus of my picks this year will be among those who were in the trenches on that.

That's fine; there's two ways, both of them good, one can look at the primitives.

One can look at the primitives as individuals, or at their situation.

And as for not being familiar with some primitives, that's the purpose of this thread, and the voting thread to come next weekend; if one has a question, one's free to ask, and we're happy to answer.

First, the ECONOMY IS DOING BETTER AND THAT WILL CONTINUE. THIS IS NOT 2010.

Next, polls do not mean diddly ****ing shit right now, and the polls are CLOSE anyway. There are TONS of Dem opportunities not just at the national level but at the state level as well. Look at what we are doing in Maine. Great candidates. Pounding the SHIT out of our TeaBag governor, and gearing up for one humdinger of a campaign. We have a strong grassroots progressive in Shenna Bellows running for US Senate. We have Mike Michaud running for gov., the first openly gay man to do so. We have great candidates for all the state and local level races, and we recently had AWESOME turnouts at our party caucuses. We are PSYCHED UP ! And we are going to take the RePUKES to the god damned woodshed !

We have great opportunities at the state level in AR, GA, PA, and even in TX it's becoming more purple all the time, and others as well.

What do Dems need to do? ATTACK the Republicans as the radical ****nuts that they are, and then say VOTE FOR US AND WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU GET HEALTHCARE, UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE, A HIGHER MINIMUM WAGE, AND HELP WITH COLLEGE.<--- Yeah, let's give away free shit! That always works!!!

And then campaign like hell and get the voters to the polls.
