I joined CU in February of 2004.

The "Best/Worst of DU" forum was started in March of 2004. The only member I see here that was there when I first logged in is SarasotaRepublican. If there's someone I'm missing, I apologize, but just about everyone here wasn't there when I arrived. There's a few here that found there way over to CU in April of 2004 when supercrash was informing the DUmmies we were making fun of them. I believe the DOTY award started at the end of 2005, but it could have been the end of 2004.

I picked Dainbramaged at #1 this year.

In all the years I've registered my choices, this has been the easiest one to pick, by far. Nothing has even come close to being this easy. Easy, easy, easy.

DainBramaged was a bloviated, loud-mouthed, jack-off for years, and it all blew up in his face in one fell swoop. He never saw it coming. Never even suspected it was in the cards. He was just doing what he was always doing; acting like he was something special and bragging about taking down the evil Republicans/conservatives. And out of nowhere -- WHAM!!!! -- and that was it. Impossible to write a better and more fitting end.

Congrats, DB!! Here's hoping things only get worse for you. You deserve every bad thing that could possibly come your way.

The irony with Doug is that at the time he posted his ultimate bouncy, he was employed and trying to score points with long term unemployed or/or the unemployable. His impressive one single post out of thousands secured his place in the annals or western history. It's like he joined the army just before First Bull Run, fought every battle of the war but caught a bullet at 07:00, April 9 Appomattox Court House, VA.

And now, even the unemployable will not talk to him. Sad. But at least he can brag to his friend that he is DUmmy of the Year!

You know, this never would've happened if walrus-face had listened to franksolich.

It was too late for me to advise and counsel after he did the deed, but the idiot still had a chance to do some "damage control," minimizing the effects of what he'd done.

If the bodies of primitives franksolich so sincerely and disinterestingly advised and counseled--but got ignored--were laid end-to-end, they'd stretch probably from eastern Connecticut clear to the eastern foothills of the Sandhills of Nebraska.

As God knows, I try.....

Way to go, Doug, you ****ing idiot.  It's good to see someone finally achieve something in their life, even if it is being an example of how not to live your life.

Thanks for all of the entertainment this fall.  It's not often one sees such a cocksure moron shoot themselves in the head, but it is always entertaining.

"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Yeah.

But I always insisted walrus-face's biggest mistake was not the game he played with the television remote control, but something broader and more general--his stubborn mule-like unwillingness to listen to other points of view, to ignore things he should hear, but won't.

As a deaf person, I'm constantly astounded in real life, about how people who have two good ears don't use them.

God gave walrus-face two ears but only one mouth; I think that was supposed to mean something; that one's supposed to listen more than one yaps.

I don't think walrus-face has learned a damned thing from this.  Given his age and decreptitude and blemished employment record, he's probably never going to have another "regular" job the rest of his life.  He of course has overgenerous unemployment benefits, or can apply for the disability gravy-train or early retirement on social security, but this largesse won't be enough for him.  He's always going to want more, more, more.

And so probably right at this minute, he's thinking about setting up an "independent" home-based internet "business"--maybe dealing in hard-to-find car parts or something like that--and how, since he's smarter than the Internal Revenue Service, this time, he's going to cheat them and get away with it.

He'll never learn.  And it's simply because he never listens.

Meh, I could care less.  Pride goeth before a fall, and DUmbass Doug learned it firsthand.  I doubt he'll get "it" and will continue to be the miserable old shit he's always been.

The idiot got what he deserved. That usually happens to idiots such as him. I just wonder if he is aware of his award?

You know, impossible as it may seem, that some DUmmy somewhere hasn't heard of the wallduding that Doug Bulna received. One thing is for certain is that the uninformed DUmmies will be curious about the annual award and who was the winner. It is then that they will find out about Dougie and his removed remote.

Hopefully with DB winning this title, some questions will be raised by the now informed DUmbasses.

I just had a thought... happy new year Doug Bulna. I predict you will live in infamy much as Willy Pitt and his 24 business hours. The internet never forgets.

I'll be watching the ball drop on TV with friends and family at my house. You? Well I hear the Sally has a new years party. Congrats loser.

Congrats Doug Bulna AKA Dainbramaged - you earned it. A first to be sure.

While this will not aid Gearhart Chevrolet, I will suggest this for any of you potential employers of Doug Bulna that are not Gearhart Chevrolet and have a television on your business premesis...assuming you can get past the smell and the fish scales from his daily lunch laying about:

Congrats Doug Bulna aka Douglas Bulna aka  Douglas C. Bulna aka  DainBramaged of Gearhard Chevrolet fame for being the biggest Dummie of the Year!

Your infamy in 2013 is the very reason I found this site and enjoy it on a daily basis.  You will never know how much enjoyment you have given me by just being you along with all the other DUmmies I read about here on CC and the DUmp.

Thank you Walrus-Face!  Without you, I would still be reading the silly posts by the PUMAs and the 0-moles on another site.  You have tremendously added to my life.

Kudos dear DUmmie.  You will be forever known in history as the biggest moron in dummiedom for the year 2013!

Given that there's 520 "views," and given that the software doesn't count all "views" (there were probably actually more than a thousand views, based upon past observation of other threads; I dunno why the software doesn't count all "views," but it doesn't) and that traffic from registered members here was light yesterday and of course during the night, I'd say just about 500, of maybe about 400 were primitives.

I'm sure pretty much the whole of Skins's island that was around yesterday afternoon and evening, and during the night, knows.

- - - - - - - - - -

By the way, for those here with moles on Skins's island:

If a brain-damaged thread's posted over there, DO NOT comment on it.  It's possibly a mole trap.

We all have questions we'd like to ask walrus-face, but let a bona fide primitive ask them; we can wait.

I've worried about Tweak too.  Dougie probably turned him into a vile black heart and taught him how to sabotage the rest of the companies computers.

Well, it's been an invigorating, chock-full year as the reigning DUmmie of the Year. But all good...er, all things must come to an end, eventually.

Going from event to breathless event, cutting ribbons at the opening of abortion clinics, pot joints, Obamacare clinis, and generally hobnobbing with pundits and socialist elites alike, smoking weed and eating classic "Mother's Basement" brand cheetos... It's over.

I pass the trophy to Bulna with a combination of tears and utter relief. That cup'o'shit sitting on my mantel has not exactly been conducive to accommodating company at my palatial estate.

Thanks to all, it's been a crap-filled, fun year.
