So I am standing on the sidewalk with a guy from Carlyle Group

Waiting for a a car in front of the Platinum hotel (highly recommended) in Las Vegas this morning.

Older guy comes by and sets his beautiful bag on a pedestal next to me.

No kidding, this bag was cooler than Coach.

Beautiful cotton duck trimmed with incredibly wonderful oiled leather. It was stamped "The Carlyle Group".

I ask him if he was with the Carlyle Group.

He looked down on me - which is not easy - because I am not easily looked down-upon. And said "yeah..." and walked out to the curb.

So I pulled out my fluorescent green highlighter from my case and wrote...

"**** ME"...

on the side of that bag. Those words glowed in the afternoon light.

He threw it over his shoulder and sallied off...not knowing what he was carrying.

I effin nailed that asshole.

One for us and all mankind!!!

He was so dismissive of me..

I could have done it.

He only outweighed me by 30 pounds (that is really important, you know).

Maybe I should have just done it.
I forgot how funny this impotent sack of dog squeeze could be.  Almost makes me miss the lying shitbag.

31. Wrong is wrong? ... Carlyle is Carllyle...

You can not do anything you choose not to do, Richardo.

I do what I want.

And I am the only person on the planet to hold a Ithaca 12-guage to John Warner's sternum.

You??

I do what I say.

And I mean what I do.

60. Hear that, everyone? He pulled a shotgun on John Warner

What's the matter, you didn't have your green highlighter that day?
Score one for Richardo!

71. You never saw my post about me and Warner?

Unlike the rest of the chickenshits here, I have actually taken up arms and killed a lot of people in "defense" of our country.

A lot of people (mostly Vietnamese and Laotians).

But I once had the pleasure of pointing an Ithaca 12guage pump at Mr Warner's sternum.

And I got away with it.

For he was just SecNav and I was me.

Do not deride that which you are not familiar.

Because it ain't funny.

Ya know?

I thought abought doing a lot worse stuff.

Just standing there next to the ****er had me shaking.

I have had a hard week.

63. My step-father is ex- COO of KBR

maybe you would like to apply for a job.

Live in a cubicle, you know.

Myself, I live in 94920.

google that.

I, myself, prefer to throw stones against the powers that be.

If you would like to draft a letter of apology, I will do my best to get it published.

What have you done, lately?

I, at the very least, did something.

So, now , take you... light of heart...

and cry to those that may be...

but do not come crying to me...

for I...

took action....

at the very least...
Took action on a bottle of Thunderbird and a six-pack of PBR from the sound of it.

70. My girlfriend....

added that.

She is Canadien and cannot help herself.

But she is beautiful and always gets in the last word (for none of my entreaties here are ever singular - save this - as she is sleeping).

By the time I caught it, 'twas too late to edit.

83. Now what have we learned from this thread, class? OK, let's review...

1) TomInTib is a high-roller: ...in front of the Platinum hotel (highly recommended) in Las Vegas this morning
2) TomInTib lives in luxury: check out ZIP 94920 on demographics (14th most affluent zip in US)
3) TomInTib is intrepid: I am the only person on the planet to hold a Ithaca 12-guage to John Warner's sternum.
4) TomInTib drives a snappy car: for the record, I drive a Carrera GT
5) TomInTib can be dangerous: I actually thought about killing the ****er...
6) TomInTib is an avenger: So I pulled out my fluorescent green highlighter from my case and wrote... "**** ME"... on the side of that bag.

Beyond that, I'm not sure if I learned anything. Wait... I just thought of one more thing... TomInTib has a very high opinion of himself, that must be shared with the world.

TiT was like the "DUmmies' Goliath". I miss that P.O.S.'s ridiculous lies and rantings. None of the new scum at DU can match it.

The Titillating Tall Tales of TiT were full of adventure, sex, intrigue, death.  It was great fun to watch Primitives buying into his incredible fabrications.  Nobody could spin a yarn like that one.

I kind of miss TiT and his tales of adventure.  The only thing funnier than reading his posts was watching all the other DUmmies lap it up.

Be careful guys, he was on a SEAL Team that wasn't formed until 25 years AFTER he left Vietnam...

And there he was, hunting down that NVA Sapper, Col. Wat Da Phuck, armed with only a sharpened C-Rat bar and his throbbing blue-veiner.

That restriction was the only unfulfilling part of reading his literary fabrications.

So, officially what happened to ole Titty boy?

If I remember the story right, TiT got a little more T-Bird in his system than normal one evening and went off on a rant about

TEH JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS

Nothing real unusual, mind you, just what all of the DUmmies keep locked away in their shriveled, blackened little hearts.  But Skins and his jack-booted minions couldn't just let let it slide - after all, with all the Freeper TrollsTM lurking around the Island, word was sure to leak out to someplace with more than ~5,000 active members, and after that it was sure to be fodder for Limbaugh, Beck and the rest of the right-wing haters.  So Skimmer had to tombstone the greatest keyboard warrior The Island ever knew.

The trinket shop in Tiburon where TiT was a clerk and slept in the back room, went belly up shortly after the ascension of the muslim to the throne. He was banned from the DUmp, came back with a new name, and was immediately banned again. Not heard from since, though he said he was going back into the recording studio, so maybe he's somewhere on the Billboard Top 40. Of course, he also owned an estate in Costa Rica, and a string of ski slope condos, so who knows where he might be.

Yeah, looks like they moved.  Or maybe they had two stores and had to close the one in Tiburon.

I remember the fun we had making fun of Tom's tall tales in phony reviews for the store on some business review website.  The DUmmies complained and got them removed.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

So his family came to Texas in 1630 as founding settlers of a county that didn't exist until the 1830's, he himself was raised first in East Texas, then a ranch here on the border, never went to school, went to Viet Nam at 14, killed the whole contry of North Viet Nam singlehandedly as a Recon Green Beret SEAL with SEAL Team 13, held an Ithaca to some guy named John Warner who had a striking resemblance to the SecNav at that time, came home, and became a rich wine merchant?

I bet he tramped to Vegas and was panhandling outside the hotel.

There's a series of three or four campfires where the lying tits primitive hitch-hiked east to see his old buddy Chief S itting Bull.

The bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive thought it was just going to be a social reunion, and was looking forward to it.

As it turned out, the lying tits primitive wanted to borrow money from Redstone, and Redstone wouldn't lend it.

So.....the lying tits primitive had to hitch-hike back to California.

But that's in the DUmpster, not the DUmping Ground, and so the series is hard to find, to dig out.
