Actually, pitchers and catchers report in the middle of February.  I think that the Winter Meetings are next week, and the free-agent signing period starts in two weeks.

I notice Drudge, as usual, is biased.

Not a word about America's team winning the World Series.

If it had been any other team, Drudge would have the flashing siren and a big headline.

It's sort of like how Drudge will cover heavily a minor hurricane down in Florida, but mention not at all a massive blizzard that blankets the Upper Great Plains states.

Seems there were no looting of department stores, flipping cars and setting them upon fire, etc. last night in New York after the Yankees win. What a difference a year makes.

That's because the new jumbotron told them to "CHEER" and "GET LOUD" instead of "LOOT" and "SET FIRES".
