Poll question: Was I out of line at the grocery store when I confronted the Astroturd?
   
I'm generally a pacifist in public and rarely confront anyone, but some cases demand action.

As my groceries were being scanned, there was a large woman in line behind me with a cartoon-like high pitched voice reciting Astroturd healthcare talking points over her cell phone. After about two minutes, I hit the boiling point. I turned around, put my hands on either side of her cart, and as best as I can remember, the exchange went like this (I did not raise my voice)...

"Shut the **** up and hang up the ****ing cell phone."

"Hang on a minute, WHAT?"

"Shut the **** up and hang up the ****ing cell phone."

"You can't say that!"

"I just did. Do you have any idea how stupid you sound? You have to have an IQ lower than your shoe size to believe the shit FOX is feeding you. You're a tool for the very forces that are screwing you right now - the insurance industry."

She stood there in disbelief and the skinny guy behind her was almost doubled over laughing.

"Based on the crap in your cart, I think you're going to be needing that socialist Obama care pretty soon. Whew. What a cluster**** of fat and junk food. That's exactly what you get when you watch FOX."

The young lady at the checkout knows me pretty well and she was trying really hard to keep her composure. The Astroturd just stood there opening and closing her mouth like a goldfish begging for food. I'm sure she had words, and lots of them, after I left.

So, was I out of line?

Of all the things in this story that is the most believable. People are fired up about this nonsense. Odds are she was talking quietly and the primitive didn't say a word but rushed home to write this fiction.

Normally, wildly absurd tales like this will result in at least one skeptic, but so far not a
single DUmmy has had any doubt he's telling the truth.

If this WAS true, only a DUmbass would behave like this in public. I live in a fairly liberal college town and don't foam at the mouth everytime I might overhear how totally awesome Obama is.
