Gun sales spike among African-Americans: 'Our ancestors died for us to vote
they also died for us to be able to carry guns'
When Americans panic, they buy guns — lots of them. During the first six months of 2020, amid a global coronavirus pandemic, gun retailers have reported a record 10.3 million firearm transactions, according to a new survey by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Overall, gun sales in the U.S. have increased by 95 percent while ammunition sales have increased 139 percent compared to the same period last year.
And while various demographic groups are buying guns in 2020, African-Americans account for the highest increase in gun purchases of any group.
“The highest overall firearm sales increase comes from Black men and women, who show a 58.2% increase in purchases during the first six months of 2020 versus the same period last year,” Jim Curcuruto, NSSF director of research and market development, wrote in his report. “Bottom line is that there has never been a sustained surge in firearm sales quite like what we are in the midst of.”
In many states, estimated gun sales doubled in March compared with February. In Utah, they nearly tripled. And in Michigan, a coronavirus hot spot, sales more than tripled.

I wonder how many conservatives will come out in favor of gun control all of a sudden?
Personally I think it's awesome that black people are joining in the shooting sports and buying firearms for self defense. We have all the 'gun control' we need in this country, thank you very much.

2. Wasn't there a situation in a southern state where the 3 Percenters white supremacist were
planning a big rally and a heavily armed, organized group of African Americans starting organizing a counter march. Long story short, the vast majority of 3 Percenters discovered that their lawns needed mowing that day. Unfortunately one of the guys among the armed African Americans got careless with his gun and wounded three people.
So yeah, maybe Black people buying up guns will lead to broad gun control. The interesting thing is if people are buying, they have to pass background checks in most cases, so it is not people with criminal records doing the buying.
Ok, so in that short post you have one complete lie, one partial lie by omission, and one absolute truth!
1. The 'white supremacists' didn't organize a rally and the NFAC (Not ****ing Around Coalition) scared them away. It was the NFAC who organized a rally and the 3 percenters organized a counter rally. And they showed up to the rally where the cops did a good job of keeping everyone away from each other.

Three Percenters plan 'boots on the ground' in Louisville to counter Black militia
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A far-right militia group is calling for members to come to Louisville on Saturday in response to a planned armed march by the NFAC (Not F***ing Around Coalition), a Black militia.
In a Facebook video posted on Tuesday, a user named Michael Malinconico said the Three Percenters militia will have "boots on the ground to assist and security on this situation."
2. The second lie by omission is that the NFAC wounded 3 people. That's true ... but the DUmmie is leaving out the part that it was an NFAC member who shot 3 other NFAC members. The NFAC claims they are all expert with weapons.

Three members of the black-led pro-gun organization “Not F–king Around Coalition” were struck by friendly fire in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday while protesting the police shooting of Breonna Taylor, according to reports.
Shots were fired around 1 p.m. in Louisville’s Baxter Park, police said.
Police attributed the shots to an “accidental discharge.” All three victims managed to survive with non-life-threatening injuries.
It's interesting to note the NY Post doesn't mention anywhere in the article it was an NFAC member who did the shooting.

According to witnesses who described the scene on Twitter, an NFAC member accidentally fired his weapon, possibly injuring himself in the process. Police later said that three people were hit when the gun went off. In one live stream from the event, a woman could be heard off camera muttering: “This is f**king embarrassing.”
By early afternoon, local media reported that at least two people had been arrested during the day. Despite the earlier mishap, the NFAC formed columns and marched through the streets of Louisville as planned.
