Sh*tbag oil exec calls enviromental activists insurgents

Quote
“Download the U.S. Army-slash-Marine Corps Counterinsurgency Manual, because we are dealing with an insurgency,” said Matt Carmichael, the manager of external affairs for Anadarko Petroleum. “There’s a lot of good lessons in there and coming from a military background, I found the insight in that extremely remarkable.”

Last week’s oil industry conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Houston was supposed to be an industry confab just like any other — a series of panel discussions, light refreshments and an exchange of ideas.

It was a gathering of professionals to discuss “media and stakeholder relations” in the hydraulic fracturing industry — companies using the often-controversial oil and gas extraction technique known as “fracking.”

But things took an unexpected twist.

CNBC has obtained audiotapes of the event, on which one presenter can be heard recommending that his colleagues download a copy of the Army and Marine Corps counterinsurgency manual. That’s because, he said, the opposition facing the industry is an “insurgency.” ...........(more)

2. We need some active duty soviets/councils in the military
These slugs are getting ready to up the ante again. And they're obviously planning on using the US military to do so. So soldiers, do you fight for the people or do you fight for Wall Street?

Can I rape your girlfriend after you've had her de-loused?

If not, I'm totally on the side of Wall Street.

4. the guy who wants to destroy the environment
used it, abuse it for his own personal gain complaining about those who want to protect that very same environment for all. Guess who has the moral high ground on this one?

It continues to amaze me, the absolute, infininte depth of their collective stupidity, that makes them believe that the military would be on their side. :stoner: :stoner: :stoner:

Let 'em believe it--that'll make it much easier for them to be rounded up. :evillaugh:

Yeah.
Even if the military WEREN'T at odds with everything the radical leftists stand for, simply the fact that leftists regularly sling the most insulting terms imaginable at people in the military (Nazis, war criminals, baby killers, mercenaries, etc.) should be more than enough to ensure that the military will never be on their side.

Boy, I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on you if you were on fire but I would gladly take out many years of frustration for being called the most despicable things one can call a country's defenders on your filthy horde.  Does that answer your question?

Sincerely,

Oh yeah, that's just what we need.   :whatever:

...and isn't that the same military you guys are in favor of completely disbanding, and then scrapping all its gear?
