He fled, and when he FLED, just like many others who flee, he decided to come to the United States. You have to wonder, out of all the places in the world, why do so many choose to flee to the United States? When they choose to flee so many risk their very lives. If they don't get caught and imprisoned or killed by their countries' rulers, the migration itself may kill them (think of what so many Cubans risk just to reach the shores of the United States).
So again, out of all the other countries in the world, why do they risk their lives to come here?
Maybe it's because we are the land of opportunity where our capitalistic free enterprise system offers everyone the chance to move from the bottom of the financial ladder to the top.
Maybe it's because our Constitution grants freedom OF religion and not freedom FROM religion.
Or maybe it's simply our overall freedom that is protected by the bravest, toughest, most top-notch military on the face of the planet who despite their unsurpassed ability to deal death also has a heart of compassion toward the down trodden and oppressed in other countries. A military who not only puts their lives on the line for the very liberal swine who slanders and libels them but also for the chance of those in far away places to taste the freedom we sometimes take for granted.
Despite the left's constant degradation of the United States for the last several years there are many reasons people would risk their very lives to move to our great country. The sad thing is that the left is currently working their hardest to destroy many of the reasons that people are willing to die to come here.
