It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

Unsurprisingly, I have never heard of any of those groups (except maybe "Black Oak Arkansas").

But popular music, especially rock has mostly sucked since 1972.

One of my favourite songs to play on the guitar.  We use three Les Pauls when we do this one.

Wow -- a great flute-'riffin cut!!!

That is soooo bookmarked!  The overtone opportunities alone make it one of my top cuts!!!

(ps: did I mention I do improv jazz flute?)

:)
