Do it! Do it! Do it!

Not long ago I wrote about this New York Nut-Job wanting to give ‘undocumented aliens’ (liberal code word for “criminal”) driver’s licenses. Most sixteen year olds grasp the concept that driving is a privilege and not a right. But not Elliot. Elliot is not satisfied with giving illegal criminal trespassers all of the rights of Americans, he wants to grant them our privileges, too.

Now Spitzer is on to an idea that makes giving a driver’s license to “undocumented” Pancho and Rosita seem sane; he wants to tax illegal drugs. There’s that word again: illegal. Clearly Mr. Spitzer has difficulty with the concept and definition of the word “illegal.” It’s a conundrum for him. This is especially concerning in that previous to his job as Governor of New York, he was the Attorney General (you know, the guy who is supposed to be in charge of “illegal”). But then again, Elliot has always been a bit ‘slow’.

More… Elliot-the-Slow’s crack-tax plan in a nutshell (pardon the pun): All illegal drugs will be levied a tax in the form of a tax stamp. Criminals come in and purchase drug stamps ($3.50 per ounce for pot, $200 for a gram of crack) and then affix the stamps to their little baggies of pot and vials of crack. Criminals are promised no repercussions for coming in to buy the illegal drug stamps. Then, if caught down the line, the criminals won’t be guilty of tax evasion on the sale of illegal drugs. Like the good liberal that he is, Spitzer is levying a tax on anything that moves, including illegal things, while dismissing the practical realities of how the real world operates.

Eilliot-the-Slow had a provision in his driver’s license program that would PROHIBIT immigration officers from arresting illegal aliens wishing to get a license at the DMV. Similarly, his crack-tax plan has a provision that would PROHIBIT law officers from arresting drug dealers purchasing stamps for their illegal drugs. In both cases, we would know precisely where the criminals are and why they are there, but would not arrest them. By definition that’s an abdication of responsibility, gross negligence and criminal malfeasance of law enforcement. [Oops, I forgot; Elliot-the-Slow has always struggled with the working definition of ‘criminal’, too. ]

I say let him do it so the liberals and libertarians (redundant?) can see for themselves what a festering shithole society would become for everyone, user and non-user alike.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
